Any fine given can be suspended if the offender agrees to undergo a drug rehabilitation treatment program.

However, with regards to driving under the influence of any type of drug, there is an established jail term to be served over 8 to 12 weekends; or a fine of 3 to 8 months, as well as revocation of driving privileges from 1 to 4 years.
